Debla

The fear, the strange and the uncomfortable to be animal and feel excluded from the purely natural, feel like an intruder in the plots that man has intervened and nature has resumed.

Debla attributes to the recreated spaces an insane unrest. A rarefied environment.

A crack that leaves the atavistic, simple and uncomfortable. A cycle, a natural struggle to recover an invaded space. Landscape, body, interaction, intervention, are the ways of searching used, walking as artistic practice and intrusion in space as a way to find the answers.

Curro Rodríguez. Cadiz. 1980.

Former student of the Master of Contemporary Photography on Eftí. Multidisciplinary artist, works between photography, video, intervention and installation in natural spaces. His discourse focuses on the relationship / disjunction between man and the natural environment, addressing diverse themes such as instincts, fears, vernacular, atavistic.

He has participated in the last exhibition of International Videoart City of Madrid, IVAHM'16, Begira Photo'16, finalist in Santander Photo 2017 or the meetings between curators and artists PLURAL.
