"I am a British-Iranian Illustrator living and working in London. Nature and its divinity has always interested me; mythology, folklore and fantastical creatures are often manifested in my practice. Illustrating natural environments allows me to use vibrant colour palettes, which is a dominant element of my work. When modern living becomes too chaotic there's an inherent need for escapism; humans must always return to nature. My recent work has been focused around the personification of Mother Nature - I am currently working on a series of oil paintings exploring this embodiment in creatures lurking in the sacred spaces of forests and jungles, quietly surveying the triviality of society."
