pebble is an independent lifestyle platform that advocates “enjoying life without harming the planet”, it covers everything from green fashion, plastic-free living, eco-travel and good food. The magazine is passionate about championing brands that do good and “support businesses that have developed fairer ways of trading and making choices that lighten the load of your life on the planet.”
This year on Saturday April 27th pebble is hosting their very first festival at Flat Iron Square, London. In conversation with The Earth Issue, Georgina Wilson- Powell founder of pebble states, “After two years of running a fast-growing sustainable living magazine, I kept being asked to put on events - so I came up with pebblefest. It's a day focusing on our new campaign of #everydayactivism - practical, actional advice for everyone on everything from food waste to ethical fashion, plus lots of plastic free and vegan traders to shop from, inspiring talks and debates, workshops where you can learn to darn or make your own clothes and food, drink and music.”
pebblefest has brought together favoured ethical brands and charities such as LUSH, Riverford, Pukka, Fashion Revolution Week, Hubbub and TRAID for a celebration of green fashion, food, drink, skincare and homewares. As well as workshops and panel discussions for “actionable advice and inspiring ideas for small ways you can make a big difference”.
Like The Earth Issue, pebble believes that our choices as consumers can make a difference, join us in support of pebblefest and the green movement. Remember, pebbles make ripples.
