Nora Lowinsky is an artist, photographer, and printmaker based in Oakland, California. Lowinsky's use of expired film is an act of surrender to the universe, revealing colourful ethereal images that tell her unfolding love story with analog photography and the great unknown.
"Through photographing nature, I explore my subconscious and its collision with the natural world. I invite the viewer to take part in my incorporeal connection to nature. The images act as portals to guide others to create their own spiritual awakenings. Along with being meditations, the photographs ask us to reflect upon the precarious state of our mother earth, calling us to collective consciousness".
